Susan Stenson
Susan Stenson was voted most original member of her graduating class in Port Hope, Ontario. She has taught English, Literature and creative writing in the Saanich School District, at St. Micheals University School, and at Waterford Kamhlaba United World College in Swaziland. Her students, both youth and adult, have won national and international writing prizes. Her third book of poetry, Nobody Move, (Sono Nis Press) celebrates life, the light and the dark, with humour, insight and beauty. She has two children, Cole and Yvonne, two step-children, James and Devin and their lovely spouses, Erika and Tina, and Susan has five grandchildren. In 2011, she received a Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is married to the writer, Bill Stenson. Susan opened Bodytalk Holistic Services in 2004.
